Mission

Dr. Mary Ellen Pantazis' mission in special education consultation centers on empowering parents with the knowledge, resources, and confidence they need to be effective advocates for their children. With decades of experience working in a variety of roles within special education, Dr. Pantazis understands the complexities of navigating educational systems and the importance of ensuring that children with disabilities receive the support they need to thrive.

Her advocacy focuses on equipping parents with the tools to understand their child’s rights, interpret educational plans, and communicate effectively with educators and administrators. By fostering a collaborative relationship between families and schools, Dr. Pantazis aims to bridge the gap between parents and educational professionals, ensuring that every child receives a personalized and supportive learning environment.

Through her work, Dr. Pantazis advocates for proactive, informed engagement in the special education process, helping parents navigate the sometimes overwhelming paperwork, procedures, and decisions that impact their child’s educational journey. Her goal is to ensure that parents feel empowered and confident in their ability to advocate for their child’s needs and help shape the future of their child’s educational success.
